Summer Strawberries at Sutter's Ridge, Mt. Vernon, Wisconsin

What better way to start your summer than with that full juicey old fashion flavor of local grown strawberries. There truely is nothing to compare to the "real thing" when you buy from out small family run farm.

Stawberry season usally starts around June 10th and runs around 20 days depending on the weather.

We now only have pre-picked berries only. Our season hours are from 9 am - 6 pm Monday thru Friday and 9 am thru 4 pm Saturday and Sunday. But please always call first to check on availability before making the drive.

Fresh StrawberriesCaring for berries:
Strawrberries are a tendet perishable fruit. They store best under 40 degrees with high humidity. Even under these conditions, they should be eaten or processed within a day or two. Immediately after picking is best. Sort berries immediately. Wash but don't soak.

Later in the summer our Raspberry season starts around mid August. You can pick your own raspberries or buy them pre- picked from our stand. Call (608) 832-6445 to find out the exact start date. The month of September is is the main season.
