Sutter's Ridge Farm Fall Activities Looking for a great way to enjoy family and friends outside in the country before winter sends us all indoors? Starting Labor Day Weekend in September, we are open every Fri-Sun from 10am to 5pm through the month of October for fun fall farm activities. In early September U-Pick raspberries are available, you can challenge yourself in the 4 acre corn maze, and you can let the little ones enjoy the kids activity area. Mid September, U-Pick apples are ripe and ready to pick, and starting in October, you can enjoy a crisp fresh carmel apple while taking a hay ride to the U-pick pumpkin patch. The kid activity area has a tricycle track, giant hay pile to climb, pygmy goats, rabbits and pheasants to feed, "Thomas the Train" play house, "Tea Party" play house and "Barbie" house, sand pile with all the neccesary trackers, back hoes and dumpster trucks all serious sandbox kids require. Mini maze with a few spooks, full size tee-pee and kitten petting barn are open in mid-September. Admission to the activity area is only $2.00/person 2 yrs and up and includes the wagon ride to the pumpkin patch. The 4 acre Corn Maze is $3.50/person 2yrs and up. For those cool autumn days you can relax by the woodstove in our cabin farm stand and enjoy our hot apple cider and pumpkin bars. (In the years to come, as the orchard matures and our apple production increases, we will also have apple pie and cider doughnut.) For those wanting to round off the day with a great hike, Donald Park's restored prairie and many hiking trails is only a 5 min. walk from our cabin.
